American Literature: Independent Reading Project


Project Instructions

Three sections of American Literature worked in groups to study independently chosen books by American authors. Their task was to research why the book is influential in the American literary tradition, read the book with a careful attention to detail, and create a project that reflects their thorough understanding of the book and it's place in the American cannon or modern tradition.
